General InformationThe area of Place Lalla Yeddouna is a center for traditional handicrafts, mainly tanners, copper- and brasssmiths. The competition site covers an area of approximately 7,400 sqm. It consists of building entities that encircle an open central square, Place Lalla Yeddouna. In addition, two interconnecting zones A and B have been defined. Zone A comprises an area in the north of approx.1,600 sqm, today used as a parking lot. Zone B, the area on the southwestern riverbank measures approx. 3,500 sqm.
